VR content to assess and
relieve cancer-patient distress
There are many ways to help patients worn out by diagnosis and long chemotherapy. A digital therapeutic helps them regulate their mental state themselves, without relying on drugs. We co-developed with Samsung Medical Center distress VR content used together by clinicians, patients and families.
- Story concept: kite-flying — patients put emotions, situation and thoughts into a kite and fly it, applying self-compassion
- Fuses cognitive behavioral therapy and relaxation, two of the four distress therapies
- Art-therapy-based relief program, AI-based assessment, voice and text guidance
- Unity-based; Meta Quest 2/Pro/3 and future devices; minimal motion sickness, intuitive UI, real-time external display
