A metaverse education platform
where the world learns Korea
Meta Edu Korea delivers Korea's knowledge and experience to the world and lays the groundwork for developing countries to leap forward — the world's first Korean-education metaverse that fuses XR and AI.
Korean learning stuck in 2D —
now turned into experience
Beyond K-pop and K-drama to K-semiconductors and K-defense, the world sees Korea as a global leader and wants to learn about it. But Korean learning material is limited to text, photos and video, which caps the learning effect.
Limits of conventional education
Lessons built on textbooks, photos and video deliver 2D information one-way, lacking immersion and interaction.
Korea's global standing and demand
Demand to learn Korean language, culture, industry and technology is surging worldwide.
The Meta Edu Korea answer
Immersive learning with implemented Korean spaces, live lessons by professional instructors and a Korean-specialized AI chatbot.

The AI learning engine
that builds real skill
ASR, pronunciation scoring, LLM NPCs, TTS and safety classifiers are linked into one learning engine for level-fitted conversation, precise correction and safe learning.
AI conversation NPCs
NPCs build 95%+ of their speech from vocabulary and patterns the learner already knows. Success is judged by whether the communicative function (greeting, request, confirmation) was achieved, errors are corrected naturally by recasting, and NPCs remember the learner's name and events.
Phoneme-level pronunciation
Phoneme scores shown in three colors with coaching matched to the learner's native-language interference. A 'sound mirror' with native mouth and tongue animations, a 'candle experiment' that visualizes plain, aspirated and tense sounds, and a whisper mode for school PC rooms.
Hangul decoding
'Fog text' blurs signs and nameplates containing letters not yet learned; jamo block assembly, stroke-order writing (80%+ trace match) and a sign collection book build real reading ability.
AI writing feedback
Error marks with a one-line reason in the learner's language, meaning-preserving suggestions and original text kept. A no-ghostwriting mode, genre workbench for speeches, minutes, reports and applications, and a writing portfolio.
Register & relationship
Classifies formal, polite and casual speech and judges honorific errors. Meeting the same characters over three years — including a 'shall we speak casually?' moment — teaches how Korean changes with relationship.
Memory garden (SRS)
Learned words and patterns become seeds that grow from sprout to flower (long-term memory). SM-2-style spaced repetition builds daily review quests and automatically plants weak points.
Metaphone
An in-game smartphone with a vocabulary notebook, camera-translation 'lens' (limited use), messenger, map, calendar and wallet; it evolves into email, work messenger and official documents as courses advance.
Multiplayer learning
Houses (up to 4), clubs (4–6), quiz shows and conferences (up to 100). Cooperative information-gap tasks with different screens per role, contribution tracking, an AI partner when no pair is available and a sticker-only safe community.
MEK score & certification
'Your MEK activity alone makes you a Korea expert!' — Korean ability and understanding of Korea are scored quantitatively and graded into ranks.
How points are earned
- A typical Korean graduate's Korean, geography and history knowledge is set as the 3,000-point reference
- Start with 10 points; 1,000 points earns 'Novice', rising through 2,000 (Intermediate) up to 7,000 (Transcendent)
- 3 points per hour of live Korean lessons
- Instructor mission rating (1/2/3 points) and zone quizzes and missions (1–2 points, −1 on failure)
- Weekly contests 20–30 points, monthly final 50, annual final 100; Korean geography levels (10 points each, up to 100)
- Planned: technical and job-skill certification and visa-points recognition for work and study
Maximum points by area (total 10,000)
