Overview
Built because the costly equipment cannot be used often for maintenance practice and to enable safe training, every part is precisely rebuilt and operates exactly like the real equipment. All parts have real-world physical properties for realistic practice, and over the network trainees learn with an instructor in the same space or perform maintenance procedures as a team.
Components down to the smallest part are rebuilt: fire-control, navigation and radar sub-systems and internal PCBs, wires, cables and switches, all of which work. Up to two instructors and eight or more (up to 15) crew train together in the virtual environment, with a learning management system and instructor and trainee modes.
